Internship Program

Internships are a great way to gain experience in the publishing or media industries. Therefore, don’t just get coffee for your internship, gain real publishing and bookselling experience while interning with AOM Bookshop.

AOM Bookshop is offering internships in several publishing positions. Fringe benefits include excellent contacts in publishing industry, VIP events, and a chance to build your resume with an innovative bookstore.

As of now, we are looking for interns and interested persons who are taking college courses and desire to learn about graphic, publishing (video, marketing, editing, writing ), marketing and publicly. There are a lot of benefits in working along side our team because we are directly connected with experts and teach our interns the grassroots of the business.

We are currently looking for energetic ground level people with some experience in at least one of the following areas:

Graphic Designer (catalog, flyers, magazine design, bookmarks, logos, advertisements)
Web Designer (Html, WordPress, Dreamweaver)
Manuscript Editor (Edit book manuscripts and magazine articles)
Writers (Conduct interviews, essays, features and how-to)
Film Videographer Editor (Knowledge of Final Cut Express or Final Cut Pro)
Publicist (press releases, book signings, event coordinator, social media management)
Book Reviews
Editors /Proofreaders
